A Man in His 20s Carrying a Weapon Arrested at Lee Jae-myung's Campaign Site: "On My Way to Sharpen a Knife"
A man in his 20s carrying a weapon was apprehended by the police at the site visited by Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On the 28th, the Bupyeong Police Station in Incheon announced that they are investigating a man in his 20s, identified as A, on charges of concealing and carrying a weapon under the Minor Offenses Act.

The square was hosting the April 10 general election kickoff rally for Democratic Party candidates from the Incheon electoral district, including leader Lee.
Lee’s personal security team discovered A carrying a weapon near the election vehicles and escorted him to the police station voluntarily.
A reportedly told the police that he was on an errand to sharpen a knife.
