On the first day of official election campaigning at Baekje Intersection in Nonsan City, Hwang criticized, "The President rejected the Grain Management Act without considering the heartbreaking reality faced by farmers," and questioned, "Can a president who only lowered corporate taxes for large conglomerates truly represent farmers?"
Hwang also stated, "If elected to the National Assembly, I plan to join the Public Administration and Security Committee to revise laws and systems that ensure the safety and well-being of citizens."
He continued, "Nonsan and Gyeryong, as cities of national defense, will attract public institutions related to non-lethal weapons, such as the Korea Military Academy and defense research institutes, while Geumsan will be supported in fulfilling its role as a city of ginseng." He further pledged, "I will work to have ginseng inscribed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, thereby enhancing its brand value worldwide."
