Handonghun Starts First Election Campaign at Garak Market... "A Party Representing Everyday People"
Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, began his first election campaign at Garak Market in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Chairman Han met with cabbage and fruit vendors to listen to public sentiment and promised to represent the working people.
On the 28th at 12 a.m., Chairman Han visited Garak Market for his first official election campaign and met with vendors. The first campaign included Chairman Han, In Yo-han, the election committee chairman of the People’s Future, a satellite party of the People Power Party, and candidates Park Jung-hoon, Bae Hyun-jin, and Kim Geun-sik, who are running respectively in Songpa-gu Gap, Eul, and Byeong districts in Seoul.
Chairman Han met with cabbage and fruit vendors at the market. He asked the vendors about fruit prices and said, "I apologize for the significant rise in prices. I will do well. Please give me the opportunity to work." He also stated, "I wanted to find meaning in starting the campaign at the site of the working people, the market," and added, "As a party representing hardworking working people, I will do my best to sincerely convey our message to the public."

Chairman Han reiterated the complete relocation of the National Assembly. He said, "I have pledged the complete relocation of the National Assembly with the goals of political reform, balanced regional development, and Seoul development," adding, "It will be a symbolic end to Yeouido politics." He continued, "(The complete relocation of the National Assembly) became a pledge because the ruling Democratic Party, a major party, was blocking and ignoring changes to the National Assembly Act," and stated, "We will definitely achieve political reform and, on that basis, judge the criminal alliance forces. We will judge the Lee (Jae-myung) and Cho (Kook) factions."
