Jungjingong Hosts 'Public Data Utilization Startup Competition'
Joint Effort by 7 Organizations... Total Prize Money Amounts to 12.5 Million Won
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 27th that it will hold the 'Convergence Data Utilization Startup Competition' to create new added value and opportunities for service creation through the utilization of public data.
This competition is hosted by the 'Jinju Regional Public Data and Data-Based Administration Activation Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council),' which was formed to revitalize public data. The contest categories include ▲Discovery and utilization of convergence data ▲Planning of startup ideas using public data ▲Discovery and planning of analysis tasks, totaling three categories.
Winners will be selected through the first document screening, including a preliminary qualification review, and the final presentation (PT) evaluation. The total prize money amounts to 12.5 million KRW, and a total of 19 awards will be given by combining the results from each council institution.

Anyone interested in data utilization can participate in the competition, and applications can be submitted individually or as a team of up to five members. A representative from the Small and Medium Business Corporation stated, “We hope that through this competition, convergence data will be discovered and actively utilized as new business creation items, contributing to economic revitalization.”
