S-Oil Sponsors 180 Million KRW for Art Performances Benefiting Local Residents
Free Performances Held 129 Times Since 2011 Every Last Wednesday of the Month at Mapo Headquarters
On the 20th, S-Oil held the '2024 Culture and Arts Sharing Campaign Donation Ceremony' at its headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and announced that it had donated 180 million KRW in performing arts sponsorship funds to Artrover Company.
The Culture and Arts Sharing Campaign is a cultural and artistic support program that S-Oil started in June 2011 as part of its community contribution activities when it moved into its new headquarters in Mapo.
S-Oil has held a total of 129 free performances every month by inviting employees and local residents to the lobby and auditorium of its headquarters building.
This year as well, on the evening of the last Wednesday of every month, various performances including popular music that families can enjoy, as well as plays and musicals, will be held.
In January, the crossover duo Duetto performed, and last month, countertenor Luis Choi performed.

An S-Oil official said, "Every time we announce the monthly performance schedule, we receive an overwhelming number of inquiries from family applicants, to the point that we cannot accommodate everyone, showing a very enthusiastic response," adding, "Going forward, S-Oil will continue to contribute to the cultural welfare of local residents and support artists' creative activities and the development of culture and arts."
