Support for Moving Expenses for Incheon Jeonse Scam Victims... Expanded to Priority Public Rental Housing Tenants
Incheon City announced on the 18th that it will expand the scope of moving expense support for victims of jeonse fraud.
Until now, the city has provided moving expenses only to victims who moved into emergency housing, but it has decided to also provide support to victims who moved into public rental housing through priority supply.
If a victim of jeonse fraud requested Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) to prioritize the purchase of the damaged housing but LH was unable to purchase it, the victim can move into nearby public rental housing through priority supply, and in this case, they will also be eligible to receive moving expense support.
Accordingly, the city plans to provide up to 1.5 million won in actual moving expenses to households that moved into public rental housing through priority supply after February 23 of last year. Victims who wish to receive support can submit proof of moving expenses and other documents to the Housing Policy Division of Incheon City Hall starting from today.
