Daekyo EduCamp Selected as a Specialized Institution for Borderline Intellectual Disability by Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education for 4 Consecutive Years
Daekyo EduCamp announced on the 18th that it has been selected for four consecutive years as a specialized institution for dyslexia and borderline intelligence by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.
On the 15th, Daekyo EduCamp signed a business agreement with the Seoul Learning Support Center of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education to provide customized learning support for elementary, middle, and high school students with borderline intelligence who are experiencing learning difficulties in Seoul.
According to this business agreement, Daekyo EduCamp will provide ▲ support from psychological and educational professionals through 'Dream Mentor,' a specialized institution for child psychology and slow learners counseling ▲ customized learning through the specialized educational service 'My Pace' ▲ psychological and emotional support services for holistic development.
Target children can choose the nearest Dream Mentor counseling center in Boramae, Gwanak-gu, or Magok, Gangseo-gu to receive customized education. If visiting the center is difficult, professional counselors also provide a visiting learning service by going to the schools where the students are enrolled.
A Daekyo EduCamp official said, "We are pleased to continue supporting students with borderline intelligence who face learning difficulties together with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education this year as well," and added, "We will take the lead in systematic customized educational support, content development, and expert training to support the healthy daily lives of slow learners."

Meanwhile, Daekyo EduCamp is developing cognitive and emotional function enhancement content for children with borderline intelligence in collaboration with the research team of Professor Kim Dong-il from the Department of Education at Seoul National University, aiming for release within the first half of this year. It also organizes qualification exams for slow learners cognitive learning counselors to nurture experts in children with borderline intelligence.
