Public Procurement Service Provides 'One-Stop Consulting' for Companies Entering the Procurement Market
The Public Procurement Service (PPS) will provide one-stop consulting services to companies newly entering the public procurement market.
On the 13th, the PPS announced that it held the launch ceremony for the "Public Procurement Guide" at the Government Complex Daejeon.
The Public Procurement Guide serves as a dedicated officer to discover companies wishing to participate in public procurement and support them in increasing their understanding for market entry and utilization of procurement systems. Its main role has been to resolve difficulties faced by novice and small businesses in entering the procurement market.
Thirty-four dedicated officers have been appointed and assigned to the PPS headquarters and 11 regional offices, which are in direct contact with the field and companies, to provide customized one-on-one consulting through visits, phone calls, and emails.
The PPS will also diversify on-site support channels for companies by making corporate support information and procurement systems available through a specialized counseling center and the Public Procurement Guide on the PPS website.
Consultations via visits, phone, and e-mail through the dedicated officers will begin on the 13th, and services through the PPS website will be launched and implemented starting on the 18th.
