A Man in His 60s Logging on a Mountain in Miryang Dies After Being Crushed by a Tree

View original imageOver the weekend, a man in his 60s died after being trapped under a tree while logging on a mountain in Miryang-si, Gyeongnam Province.
According to the Miryang Police Station on the 11th, Mr. A, who was cutting down a tree on a mountain in Muan-myeon, Miryang-si, was trapped under a log and died at 8:09 a.m. on the 9th.
The log was reported to be 15 meters long and 30 cm in diameter.
Mr. A was transported to the hospital by firefighters who responded to a report from a colleague but passed away around 10 a.m. that day.
