CJ CheilJedang Announces Recruitment for 2nd Season of 'K-Starju' with Michelin Chefs
Providing Paid Internship Opportunities at Gwonsuksu, Soseolhannam, Solbam, and EVETT
CJ CheilJedang announced on the 11th that it is recruiting participants for the 2nd class of 'K-Stage,' a Korean fine dining restaurant internship program.
K-Stage is part of the Cuisine.K project, which aims to discover and nurture promising Korean chefs and was designed to firmly establish the foundation for elevating Korean cuisine to the ranks of global gastronomy.
Since launching the 1st class of 'K-Stage' in October last year, CJ CheilJedang has selected young chefs with high growth potential and provided them with opportunities to gain hands-on experience at world-class Korean Michelin restaurants.
The 2nd class will include Michelin Guide Seoul 2024 2-star restaurant ‘Gwonsuksu’ and 1-star restaurants ‘Soseol Hannam,’ ‘Solbam,’ and ‘EVETT.’ Young chefs will have the chance to broaden their knowledge of Korean cuisine by working alongside top chefs, gaining insights into ingredients, recipe ideas, and diverse experiences. The program focuses on conveying the value of gastronomy and enhancing global capabilities.
Applications for the 2nd class of 'K-Stage' can be submitted on the Cuisine.K website until the 24th. The final selected participants will undergo a two-month internship starting in April. After the internship, based on evaluation results, they will also be offered benefits to engage in various activities as chefs affiliated with Cuisine.K.
