Changwon Jindong and Gusan-myeon Trap Autonomous Community Conduct Marine Environment Cleanup Activities
Members of the Jindong and Gusan-myeon Tongbal Autonomous Community in Happo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, carried out marine environmental cleanup activities.
On the afternoon of the 6th, 23 members participated and collected 2 tons of nets, styrofoam, and fairgoods washed ashore at Suseom in front of Jindongjudo.
Kim Baeksik, chairman of the autonomous community, said, “Despite busy schedules, I am grateful that the members helped create a clean sea and prevent environmental pollution.”
He urged, “We ask citizens to participate in reducing marine pollution whenever possible.”
