Development of Korea's First Online Application-Based Linked Service for 'Jindo-gun Public App'

Various Administrative Services... Any County Resident Can Directly Inquire and Apply Anytime, Anywhere

Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, has developed the nation’s first exclusive public app for residents, the ‘Jindo-gun Public App,’ linked with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s Subsidy24 online application platform.

According to the county on the 7th, the public app is a mobile application that allows residents to access various comprehensive services centered on them, such as information on various projects and listening to village broadcasts. It officially began operation in July 2023.

In addition, Jindo-gun was finally selected for the ‘2025 Intelligent Village (Smart Village) Distribution and Expansion Project,’ led by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Information Society Agency, to establish a communication infrastructure to enhance resident convenience.

Accordingly, the county plans to enable any resident to easily and conveniently use various information through the Jindo-gun Public App, including △provision of information on various agriculture, fishery, and livestock industry projects △online issuance of pesticide purchase permits for farmers and fishermen △information on county events and performances △online reservation of public sports facilities and accommodations △viewing individual official land price decision notices.

Furthermore, applications for talent development scholarships, longevity celebration funds, and the Jindo-gun Youth Dream Voucher support can be submitted through the Jindo-gun Public App without having to visit the town or township offices in person.

A county official stated, “We are doing our best to guide and promote the use of the public app so that any resident can use it conveniently and easily,” adding, “We will continue to research and develop to enable residents to conveniently access various administrative services closely related to their convenience anytime and anywhere through the Jindo-gun Public App.”
