Promotion of Collaboration in New Product Development and Data Analysis
The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 7th that it has signed a business agreement with LG Uplus and Jeju Air to promote pet-friendly travel.

View original imageThe three organizations signed the agreement on the 5th to promote pet-friendly travel and mutual cooperation.
Under this agreement, the Organization will collaborate with each institution on ▲developing new travel products ▲promoting and marketing products ▲data analysis and research related to pets.
LG Uplus leads pet owner services, operating 'Podong,' a community of 430,000 pet owners. Its representative service is 'DBTI,' which analyzes over 10,000 dog behavior data points and suggests 16 types of caregiving methods.
Jeju Air also operates pet-friendly systems, such as launching the first travel lunchbox for dogs in the domestic airline industry called 'Pet Meal' and running the pet boarding stamp 'Pet Pass.'

Yoo Jin-ho, Head of Tourism Content Strategy at the Korea Tourism Organization, said, "Through this agreement, we will create an environment where people can comfortably travel with their pets by improving transportation convenience for pet-friendly tourists and supporting mutual cooperation among industries, and we will strive to develop new products and tourism content."
