Muan-gun Leads Resident Health Promotion at 8 Health Centers and Clinics
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 7th that it has been operating a health-specialized program at eight public health centers and health clinics from the 14th of last month until the 28th to promote residents' health and improve their quality of life.

View original imageThe health-specialized program selects unique, customized health themes for each public health center and health clinic, providing integrated health education through internal and external instructors on topics such as cerebrovascular diseases, cognitive enhancement programs, elderly fall prevention exercises, brain breathing exercises, degenerative arthritis taping therapy, and Nanta (Korean percussion performance).
As part of the health promotion project, the county plans to continuously expand the program to discover and operate specialized projects at public health centers and clinics, aiming to eliminate health disparities between regions and create an environment where residents can manage their own health.
Governor Kim San stated, “We will do our best to eliminate health care inequalities and ensure that all residents can enjoy a happy life by operating specialized programs tailored to the realities of rural fishing and farming communities.”
