Expressed Concern Through Statement
The Professors' Association of Yeungnam University College of Medicine expressed "deep concern over the chaotic medical situation caused by the unilaterally enforced increase in medical student admissions."
On the 6th, the Yeungnam University Professors' Association issued a statement claiming, "Illogical policies are being suddenly announced without public discussion, and the medical community is being oppressed daily by forced public authority."
They continued, "The Ministry of Health and Welfare must take responsibility for the medical vacuum crisis it triggered," and criticized, "We will not overlook the damages to interns, residents, and medical students, and the current government is responsible for all the incidents."

The Professors' Association demanded, "Stop the coercive exercise of public authority, withdraw all plans to increase medical student admissions, and renegotiate with the medical community from the starting point," and called for "improving the inadequate educational environment of medical colleges."
