Lee Chang-yong, Governor of the Bank of Korea, Attends BIS Governors' Meeting
The Bank of Korea announced that Governor Lee Chang-yong will depart on the 7th to attend the BIS (Bank for International Settlements) Governors' Meeting held in Basel, Switzerland.
The Governor plans to participate in the World Economic Meeting, the General Governors' Meeting, and the Asia Regional Committee, where he will discuss the recent global economic and financial market conditions with member central bank governors.
Additionally, as Chair of the Committee on the Global Financial System (CGFS), he will lead discussions among major central bank officials on global financial issues.
