Anseong-Guri Expressway to Open in December... Vice Minister of Economy and Finance Emphasizes "Swift Progress"
Kim Yunsang, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, visited the construction site of the Anseong~Guri Expressway Han River Crossing Bridge in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 6th to inspect the progress of public institution construction investments.
The Anseong~Guri Expressway is a key section of the Sejong~Pocheon Expressway, with a total project cost of 7.3014 trillion won. Construction began in 2016 and is scheduled to open in December this year. The Sejong~Pocheon Expressway is an important arterial road connecting Sejong City and the metropolitan area, expected to significantly alleviate congestion in the existing southern metropolitan traffic network, including the Gyeongbu Expressway.

Vice Minister Kim stated, "This year's inspection of public institution investment and execution aims to actively support the revitalization of the national economy and timely supply of public services to the people." He added, "To support the activation of the construction market, it is necessary to promptly advance social overhead capital (SOC) construction projects."
