Gender Differences in Advantages That Increase Favorability
Divorced singles who have returned to single life cited 'the moment of separation from their ex-spouse' and 'when their children become independent' as the most important motivations for deciding to remarry, respectively.
On the 4th, OnlyU, a remarriage-specialized matchmaking company, and Vienarae, a marriage information company, announced the results of a survey conducted from the 26th of last month to the 2nd of this month on 500 men and women nationwide who wish to remarry.
When asked about the 'most important motivation for deciding to remarry,' men responded in order: ▲the moment of separation from their ex-spouse (31.2%) ▲health issues (25.3%) ▲death of parents (14.1%). Regarding the 'reasons for stopping dating after meeting a remarriage partner more than three times,' men answered in order: ▲when they are a low priority (33.8%) ▲when the partner does not buy them a cup of tea (31.3%) ▲when appointments are continuously postponed (17.1%) ▲when the partner speaks carelessly (11.5%). Regarding which qualities of a remarriage partner increase likability with each meeting, there was a difference in views between men and women.
