"Anyone Who Is a Resident of Namhae County Benefits" ... Namhae County Expands Implementation of Resident Safety Insurance
Namhai-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 4th that it has renewed the 'Citizen Safety Insurance' to stabilize the lives of residents who suffer damage from unexpected disasters and accidents occurring in daily life.
All residents registered in the jurisdiction (including registered foreigners) are automatically enrolled without any separate subscription procedure, and the enrollment cost is fully covered by Namhae-gun.
The insurance period is from March 1 to February 28 of next year, and coverage is provided regardless of other insurance policies.
The coverage includes a total of 27 items such as ▲death or permanent disability due to agricultural machinery accidents ▲death or permanent disability due to fire, explosion, collapse, or landslide ▲death from natural disasters ▲death from drowning accidents ▲death or permanent disability due to robbery injuries ▲injury expenses from violent crimes ▲death or permanent disability from public transportation accidents ▲burn surgery expenses, with insurance payouts up to 20 million KRW.
Especially this year, coverage has been expanded by adding ▲emergency room treatment expenses for poisonous animal contact accidents ▲consolation money for natural disaster accidents.
Insurance claims can be filed within three years from the date of the accident by the insured or their family by submitting supporting documents to NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance.
