Ulsan City Supports Improvement of 'Standing Tables' Environment in Dining Establishments
200 Food Service Businesses, Up to 2 Million Won Each
Ulsan City is investing 400 million KRW to implement the 'Standing Seat Improvement Support Project' targeting about 200 dining establishments.
This project is being promoted to provide convenience to customers by improving the welcoming environment of dining establishments and to raise the level of dining culture services.
The support targets are businesses operating in the Ulsan area before December 31, 2022, including general and casual restaurants and bakeries that wish to improve their business environment by replacing traditional floor seating tables with standing tables or installing standing tables for the first time.
Priority will be given to businesses with long operating periods, low sales, designated hygiene grade establishments, and small-scale businesses with limited floor space. Selected businesses can receive support of up to 2 million KRW. However, businesses that have received administrative sanctions such as business suspension within the past year or have outstanding tax arrears are excluded from support.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form and submission templates from the Ulsan City website, filling them out, and applying to the hygiene department of the relevant district office (Small Business Promotion Division of Nam-gu) from the 4th to the 22nd of this month.
