The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency's Mobile Patrol Unit, officially launched on the 20th, is focusing personnel on crime-prone areas and crowded places through scientific analysis to maintain the peaceful daily lives of citizens.
Composed of 12 teams and 97 members, the Gwangju Mobile Patrol Unit is concentrating its deployment in key crime-vulnerable areas based on security data analysis systems such as the Crime Risk Prediction and Analysis System (Pre-CAS) and the Geographic Profiling System (Geo-Pros).
