The city currently provides up to 2 million won in childbirth congratulatory money and 3 million won in first meeting vouchers upon the birth of a child. In addition, separate from this, it recruits sponsors such as companies, organizations, and individuals to provide an additional 1 million won in childbirth congratulatory money through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation for the birth of a third child or more.
Jung Young-hwa, chairman of Daehotech, said, “I hope this will help families who are having and raising children, who are our future in this low birthrate era, even if just a little,” and added, “We will continue steady donations and community contribution activities to become a company that coexists with local residents.”
Chairman Jung joined the Red Cross Honors Club (RCHC), a high-value individual donor club of the Korean Red Cross, as Gyeongnam’s 8th member in 2021, received the Presidential Citation with the Sharing National Award in 2022, and joined the ‘Green Noble Club’ by donating 100 million won to the Green Umbrella Foundation in 2024, continuously participating in sharing for neighbors in need in the local community.
