Gucci New Director Collection Debuts at Galleria Department Store
Spring-Summer Season Collection from March 1 to 15
Pop-up Events Held in Japan and China to Celebrate Debut Collection
Italian luxury brand Gucci announced on the 29th that it will showcase the pop-up store for the debut collection of Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, titled ‘Gucci Ancora,’ on the 1st floor of the Galleria Department Store Luxury Hall EAST.
This pop-up store features Gucci’s 2024 Spring-Summer season collection for women and will run from the 1st to the 15th of next month.
The pop-up store will present a variety of products, including women’s ready-to-wear pieces that reflect Sabato De Sarno’s aesthetics, as well as handbags, shoes, fashion jewelry, belts, and eyewear that reinterpret the house’s iconic symbols.
The main color of this collection is ‘Rosso Ancora’ (Burgundy Red). This color was reinterpreted by Sabato De Sarno from the red shade that Gucci’s founder, Guccio Gucci, was inspired by while working at the Savoy Hotel in London, UK, and was showcased in the recent fashion show.
At the pop-up store, visitors can explore a range of signature ready-to-wear items from exquisitely tailored coats to mini dresses that embody sensual femininity and a sophisticated mood. Additionally, various styles of handbags will be on display, including the Gucci Jackie, Jackie Notte, Gucci Bamboo, and new styles of bucket bags.
Moreover, a variety of shoe styles and jewelry pieces will also be available. Highlights include the Gucci Signoria slingback shoes featuring GUCCI lettering, Gucci Re-Web sneakers adorned with the Gucci web motif, and the Marina Chain jewelry collection, a new fashion jewelry line that reinterprets the house’s 1960s archives.
