Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization are accepting submissions for 'Tourism Convergence Content' themed around the historical, cultural, and ecological aspects of 31 cities and counties within the province until March 15.
Tourism Convergence Content refers to discovering special stories or records related to the lesser-known history, culture, and ecology of the area and transforming them into tourism products that attract visitors' interest.
Gyeonggi Province will select and support two cities or counties within the province through experiences, mission programs, events, performances, and experience kits centered on unique themes.
New projects will receive support worth 90 million KRW, while existing projects will receive support worth 60 million KRW.
Gyeonggi Province, local governments (regional councils), and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will finalize the project execution plans through professional consulting and collaboratively develop the content to be showcased in the second half of the year.
