Gwangju Dong-gu Supports Installation and Replacement of Eco-Friendly Home Boilers
Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it will start accepting applications for the 'Home Eco-friendly Boiler Installation and Replacement Support Project' aimed at reducing household heating costs and improving air quality from the 26th of this month.
An 'eco-friendly boiler' is an excellent eco-friendly boiler that uses highly energy-efficient eco-friendly LNG (liquefied natural gas), reducing heating costs and emitting about 83% less nitrogen oxides, which are air pollutants, compared to conventional boilers.
Accordingly, Dong-gu plans to provide support of 600,000 KRW per household within the budget limit to low-income families and multi-child households (below 70% of median income) who wish to install or replace eco-friendly boilers.
The application period is from the 26th of this month until the budget is exhausted. Applicants can submit the application form and required documents by visiting the Climate Environment Division or by mail.
