Jindo-gun, Distribution of 2024 Revised Systems and Policies Guide
89 Cases Including Free Dermatology Consultations and Housing Restoration Support for Fire-Affected Residents
Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do has produced and distributed materials on the systems and policies changing in 2024.
According to the county on the 20th, the changes in 2024 include a total of 89 items: △18 in agriculture, forestry, and livestock △13 in marine and environment △32 in welfare, health, and population △3 in culture and sports △10 in safety and construction △5 in jobs and economy △8 in general administration.
As new policies in the agriculture, forestry, and livestock sector, the county will promote △support projects for eco-friendly fruit and vegetable transport boxes △support for riding-type green onion transplanters △wide biodegradable film support for improving green onion cropping systems △cultivation of new high-income crops such as spinach and bracken.
In the marine and environment sector, support projects for outboard motors for small-scale fishermen will be implemented; in welfare, health, and population, free dermatology clinics; and in safety and construction, support projects for fire victims in Jindo-gun will be carried out.
In particular, in the general administration sector, the public app "Bobaeseom Sosiktong," which won the Excellence Award at the Jeollanam-do Active Administration Best Practices Competition in the first half of 2023, will expand its services from the existing 4 types to 13 types. New policies such as operating the Citizen Happiness Classroom and the Citizen Leader University will also be promoted.

A county official said, “We will do our best to actively promote the systems and policies changing in 2024 so that they can help many residents in their daily lives.”
