Gyeonggawon Discovers and Supports 10 Startups Including Those with Innovative Technologies
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will discover and support 10 prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage startups with innovative ideas and technologies.
On the 20th, the agency announced that it will hold the "2024 Gyeonggi Startup Contest for Change and Opportunity" until the 20th of next month, selecting 10 winning teams and providing a total prize of 115 million KRW along with various startup support benefits.
The Gyeonggi Startup Contest is a representative startup support program in Gyeonggi-do aimed at nurturing and supporting prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage companies within three years of establishment who have excellent commercialization projects.
The contest will be operated by separating the prospective entrepreneur and startup leagues through the first and second preliminary rounds and the final presentation judging, culminating in the final competition in September. In addition to prize money, the final winning teams will receive various benefits related to startup support projects hosted by the agency, such as additional points when moving into Gyeonggi startup support facilities and special guarantee benefits.
