Dear Customers, Please Fry 'Ppurinkle'... bhc Cooking Class Opens
Curriculum Including Signature Menu Practice and Brand History
Participation by Students and Welfare Groups... Officially Scheduled for April
Chicken franchise bhc Chicken has launched the ‘bhc Ppurinkle Cooking Class’ to strengthen communication with customers.
bhc Chicken announced on the 19th that it will officially introduce the bhc Cooking Class, which features a diverse curriculum including hands-on cooking practice of signature menus such as Ppurinkle and Cheese Balls, the brand’s history, and the backstory of the creation of chicken menu items.
The bhc Cooking Class is a customer participation program aimed at increasing understanding of K-Chicken among consumers such as students majoring in the food service field, clubs, corporate and institutional employees, and welfare organizations, allowing them to directly experience bhc’s unique flavors and know-how. The bhc Cooking Class has undergone four pilot sessions from last November to February and will be officially launched as a full program starting this April.
In November last year, the first class was held by inviting 18 students from the Franchise Management Department at Jang-an University, and in January this year, 17 students from the Department of Hotel, Tourism, and Food Service Management at Dongguk University participated. Ahead of the official launch in February, the range of participants was expanded, with 15 women customers in their 30s and 40s attending on the 15th, and 21 youths from the Yongsan Education Welfare Center, including multicultural families, participating on the 16th, adding more significance to the program.
Participants in the bhc Cooking Class attended theoretical education covering the history of the bhc Chicken brand, the chicken rearing process, and the entire process from farm to table. In the subsequent practical session, they cooked bhc Chicken’s signature menu ‘Ppurinkle’ and the side menu ‘Sweet Crispy Cheese Balls’ themselves, experiencing firsthand the dishes they usually enjoy and engaging in a Q&A session to resolve various questions.
All participants received souvenirs including the chicken dishes they cooked themselves, as well as bhc Chicken goods such as pens and eco bags.
The ‘bhc Cooking Class,’ which will be fully launched from April, can be applied for through announcements on the official Instagram account. Applications can be submitted via direct message (DM) on the official Instagram for groups ranging from a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 28 people, and participation is free of charge. Attendance confirmation will be provided via individual messages.
