Hwaseong-si to Conduct '2024 Business Survey' Until Next Month 12
Over 136,000 Locations... The Largest Scale Nationwide
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct the '2024 Business Survey' from the 16th of this month until the 12th of next month.
The 'Business Survey' is a nationally designated statistical survey conducted annually nationwide to investigate information such as the regional distribution and employment structure of businesses. The survey results are used as basic data for government policies, corporate management planning, and academic research.
The survey targets all businesses with one or more employees engaged in industrial activities within Hwaseong City as of December 31 of last year. Businesses without a physical location, such as household e-commerce, freelancers, one-person publishing companies, and study rooms without signboards, are also included in the survey.
The survey items include 14 categories such as business name, representative name, number of employees, and annual sales. The survey will be conducted through a combination of on-site visits by surveyors and telephone and distributed surveys. The survey results will be provisionally announced in September, and the final results are scheduled to be published in December.
Meanwhile, based on last year's survey data and administrative data, Hwaseong City has predicted the number of businesses subject to the survey to be approximately 136,172, the highest among basic local governments nationwide.
