Kang Yong-jun Appointed as Chief of Muan Police Station... Holds Meeting

Muan Police Station (Chief Kang Yong-jun) announced on the 6th that on the 5th at 2 PM, a meeting was held in the small conference room on the 2nd floor to celebrate the inauguration of the 77th Chief Kang Yong-jun of Muan Police Station, attended by heads of various departments, section and team leaders, and local station chiefs.
Before the meeting, they visited the Memorial Tower to pay tribute and hold a moment of remembrance for the fallen police officers and patriotic spirits.

View original imageAt the meeting, Chief Kang Yong-jun stated, “To take responsibility for the lives and safety of residents, sincere policing that does its best even in small matters is central, and smooth communication with the local community and residents is the key to successful policing activities.” He added, “For a confident and admirable Muan Police, I hope you will continuously enhance your expertise through steady education and training, and do your best in the field with cooperation and unity.”
He also said, “Let us move forward together by touching the hearts of the county residents with the small sincerity of Muan Police and by utilizing various communication channels to listen to the voices of the local community, thereby establishing a foundation for everyone’s development.”
Meanwhile, Chief Kang Yong-jun joined the police as the 49th class of police officer candidates, served as the captain of the 21st Mobile Unit of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, head of the Security Investigation Planning Division, and head of the Women Protection Division before being appointed as the chief of Muan Police Station.
