Hyundai Motor Company Launches 2024 Kona Model...Base Trim Price Reduced by 400,000 KRW
Hyundai Motor Company has lowered the price of the facelifted model of the compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) Kona by 400,000 KRW.
The 2024 Kona, released on the 6th, added a Modern Plus trim based on the base Modern trim, which includes standard features such as a power driver's seat, front-row ventilated seats, and front-row safety power windows.
The Modern trim comes with rear air vents, while the mid-level Premium trim includes a fabric roof and 18-inch alloy wheels (excluding hybrid models) as standard. The top-tier Inspiration trim features a vibration warning steering wheel as standard. The Hyundai SmartSense advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) package also added the vibration warning steering wheel, allowing customers to select it when choosing the base model.

The price of the Modern trim was reduced by 400,000 KRW. The prices of other trims were kept unchanged despite the addition of some safety and convenience features. The gasoline 1.6 turbo model is priced at 25,160,000 KRW for the Modern trim and 25,800,000 KRW for the Modern Plus. The Premium trim is 27,790,000 KRW, and the Inspiration trim is 31,200,000 KRW.

The gasoline 2.0 model is priced at 24,460,000 KRW for the Modern trim, 25,100,000 KRW for the Modern Plus, 27,100,000 KRW for the Premium, and 30,510,000 KRW for the Inspiration. The 1.6 hybrid model is priced at 29,590,000 KRW for the Modern trim, 30,230,000 KRW for the Modern Plus, 31,780,000 KRW for the Premium, and 34,950,000 KRW for the Inspiration (after tax benefits).
