Kakao Junshinwi Holds First Meeting with Jeongsin-a Nominee and Affiliate CEOs: "Communication to Restore Trust"
Kakao's Compliance and Trust Committee held the third meeting with Jeong Sin-ah, the prospective CEO of Kakao, and the CEOs of affiliated companies under the agreement.

The Kakao Compliance and Trust Committee (Junshinwi), an independent body supporting compliance and ethical management of Kakao affiliates, held its third meeting with representatives of affiliated companies under agreement. Junshinwi had its first official meeting with Jeong Sin-ah, the designated CEO of Kakao, and representatives of Kakao and its affiliates.
According to Junshinwi on the 6th, the committee members, including Chairperson Kim So-young, held the third meeting on the 2nd of this month with Jeong Sin-ah, the designated CEO, Ryu Geung-seon, CEO of Kakao Mobility, and Shin Won-geun, CEO of Kakao Pay. The meeting was arranged to directly hear from the representatives of the three affiliated companies about major issues and matters requiring Junshinwi’s support.
Jeong Sin-ah stated, "To restore society’s trust, I will seek opinions and advice from Junshinwi and maintain communication." Chairperson Kim So-young said, "Junshinwi will also continuously strive to prepare ways for Kakao to change."
Additionally, Junshinwi launched an official website to disclose its activities and receive reports. In particular, Junshinwi, which is currently accepting reports on internal corruption via email, has also created a reporting menu.

Junshinwi has established measures to protect whistleblowers. Related information will never be leaked externally without the whistleblower’s consent, and anonymous submissions are also possible. According to the operational regulations signed with Junshinwi, affiliated companies under agreement must not attempt to identify whistleblowers or take disadvantageous actions against them. Junshinwi has notified the affiliated companies of these whistleblower protection policies and plans to conduct investigations and other activities upon receiving reports in the future.
