[Breaking] February 8 Hong Nampyo Changwon Mayor 'Election Law Charges' First Trial Verdict
The trial related to the violation of the Public Official Election Act by Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, whose first trial verdict was about to be announced, resumed on the 1st.
At the trial held at Changwon District Court at the request of the prosecution, a fact verification statement submitted by Jang Donghwa, former director of the Changwon Industrial Promotion Agency, was admitted as evidence.
Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, is heading to the courtroom building of Changwon District Court to attend a trial.

Earlier, Mayor Hong was brought to trial on charges of conspiring with Mr. A, who was the head of the overall election countermeasures headquarters during last year's nationwide simultaneous local elections, to promise a public office to Mr. B, who intended to run in the People Power Party's Changwon mayoral primary, urging him to join the campaign.
