Kakao Wraps Up 'Regular Customer Challenge' Supporting Small Businesses... "Will Continue Win-Win Activities"
Kakao announced on the 1st that it has concluded the 'Making Regular Customers Challenge' held for small and medium-sized merchants and hosted a special business seminar inviting its partners.
The Making Regular Customers Challenge was a partner development program conducted by Kakao from October to December last year for small and medium-sized merchants nationwide who wanted to communicate with customers. It was carried out by having online and offline small and medium-sized merchants complete the mission of gaining 1,000 KakaoTalk Channel friends.
On the previous day, Kakao held a special business seminar at Kakao Ajit in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, for partner companies that participated in the challenge for three months and completed the mission. Through the special business seminar, Kakao awarded mission achievement plaques along with 1 million KRW in support funds for sending channel messages.
Additionally, customized education tailored to the business scale of the small and medium-sized merchants attending the seminar was provided. A Q&A session with Kakao’s practical team was held to address any questions about operating KakaoTalk Channels. Furthermore, a networking event was held to expand exchanges among partner companies.
A total of 1,941 people applied for the Making Regular Customers Challenge, and the number of mission achievers was counted at 149. After the challenge ended, the number of channel friends held by the participating channels increased by approximately 230,000 compared to before the challenge, and it is analyzed that various customized educational materials for mission achievement helped increase channel friends.
