Gwangju City Council-KB Honam Headquarters, Collaboration for Lunar New Year Social Contribution Project
The Gwangju Metropolitan Council (Chairman Jeong Muchang) and KB Kookmin Bank Honam Regional Headquarters (Head Park Jinho) held an event linking social contribution projects ahead of the Lunar New Year.
According to the Gwangju City Council on the 31st, KB Kookmin Bank Honam Headquarters purchased fruit sets worth 7 million won at Wolgok Traditional Market and decided to deliver them to the 'Together Gwangsan Sharing Culture Foundation.'
Recently, due to the local economy shrinking, holiday sharing activities have significantly decreased compared to previous years. Therefore, this event feels even more meaningful.
The 'Together Gwangsan Sharing Culture Foundation' is a non-profit social welfare corporation established in 2013 through the collective support of Gwangsan district residents. It promotes sharing projects that support neighbors who cannot receive public assistance due to legal and institutional limitations and supports village welfare communities. Chairman Jeong Muchang of the Gwangju City Council has also been donating monthly to the foundation for several years.
