[Concall] Samsung Electro-Mechanics "This Year's CAPEX Investment Scale Similar to Last Year"
On the 31st, during the conference call following the announcement of the fourth-quarter results of last year, Samsung Electro-Mechanics stated, "Due to the decrease in demand in the front-end markets such as smartphones and PCs last year, we operated by reducing CAPEX investment compared to the original plan." They added, "This year, although investment in Vietnam expansion related to package substrates is progressing and investment will decrease compared to last year, investment in MLCC is expanding to respond to the automotive sector, so overall company investment will be similar to the previous year."
They continued, "Going forward, we will flexibly execute investments considering market conditions and customer demand, focusing on high-growth areas such as automotive, servers, and AI."
