Jeonnam Fire Department Launches Special Fire Safety Inspections for Residential Vinyl Houses and More
Headquarters, Frontline Fire Stations, and City/County Cooperation
The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) will conduct a joint fire safety special inspection with related organizations on 55 residential vinyl houses and container facilities until February 7.
This inspection was initiated to prevent recurrence of similar incidents and to raise fire awareness among related parties following a recent container fire in Damyang-eup, Damyang-gun, which resulted in casualties.
The inspection will be carried out in cooperation with the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters and fire station fire safety investigation teams, as well as disaster safety departments of city and county governments.
Through the inspection, the focus will be on ▲ fire safety checks and guidance on the safe use of electrical handling products ▲ fire safety education and verification of residential fire safety facilities ▲ updating data on residential vinyl houses and containers.
Particularly, the inspection will emphasize strengthening meticulous fire safety management for vulnerable residential facilities by providing safety guidance and fire extinguisher usage education to residents of residential vinyl houses and containers.
