Sogang University Graduate School of Economics Signs Business Agreement with Korea ESG Research Institute
Sogang University announced on the 30th that the Graduate School of Economics at Sogang University and the Korea ESG Research Institute signed a "Business Agreement for Fostering ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Experts" at the Geppert Namdeokwoo Economics Hall.
At the signing ceremony, from Sogang University attended Jungsu Park, Dean of the Graduate School of Economics, Hayun Joo, Vice Dean, and Hongkyun Kim, Head Professor of ESG Economics Major, and from the Korea ESG Research Institute attended Yoonnam Cho, CEO, Jaewook Baek, Executive Director, and Serim Lee, Head of Headquarters.

View original imageThe Korea ESG Research Institute, an affiliate of Daishin Financial Group, is a specialized institution that provides ESG evaluations for companies as well as advisory services necessary for exercising voting rights to institutional investors including the National Pension Service.
Through this agreement, both institutions agreed to establish a mutual linkage system to cooperate on ▲ developing and operating educational programs for fostering ESG experts ▲ conducting research and building infrastructure to establish an ESG ecosystem foundation ▲ joint research for ESG management consulting and solution development.
Jungsu Park, Dean of the Graduate School of Economics at Sogang University, said, "The agreement with the Korea ESG Research Institute will be a great help for our society to advance the establishment of sophisticated ESG practices and will also greatly contribute to the mutual enhancement of shared benefits."
