On the Theme of 'Recent Developments in Bukhan and the Future of the Korean Peninsula'
Park Jae-gyu, President of Gyeongnam National University, gave a special invited lecture to the 13th class of the Graduate School of Public Administration's Unification Future Executive Program at the Peace Hall on the first floor of the Creative Hall.
In the lecture held on the 25th, President Park delivered a talk on the theme of "Recent Developments in North Korea and the Future of the Korean Peninsula," explaining ▲ policies and principles of past North Korean regimes ▲ North Korea's nuclear strategy and missile development ▲ military security on the Korean Peninsula ▲ current situation and future of the Korean Peninsula.

View original imageIn particular, he communicated with the participants by sharing various efforts and anecdotes he made for inter-Korean peace and exchange cooperation during his visit to North Korea while serving as Minister of Unification, where he met with then National Defense Commission Chairman Kim Jong-il.
The Unification Future Executive Program, jointly operated by Gyeongnam National University and the University of North Korean Studies, is a course that contemplates peace settlement in Northeast Asia and the future of the Korean Peninsula, sharing knowledge, strategies, and visions for unification's future.

Since its opening last November, the 13th class has gathered wisdom on the past, present, and future of the Korean Peninsula every Thursday with top domestic experts with extensive experience in unification, diplomacy, and security fields. About 100 participants of the 13th class of the Unification Future Executive Program attended the lecture.
