Hana Securities forecasted on the 26th that CrowdWorks will benefit from the expansion of enterprises' lightweight language model (sLLM) construction projects.
Researcher Jo Jeong-hyun of Hana Securities explained, "IBM recorded a 'surprise performance' in the fourth quarter of last year, renewing its 52-week high," adding, "The demand for sLLM construction by companies has increased, and the adoption of generative AI has accelerated, improving performance."
He continued, "Centered on IBM's artificial intelligence (AI) platform 'WatsonX,' there has been a surge in corporate demand for sLLM projects in AI software and consulting businesses," adding, "WatsonX is a platform that provides foundation model training, fine-tuning, and sLLM construction services."
He predicted, "According to market research firm GMI, the global on-device AI market size is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 20%, from $5 billion in 2022 to $70 billion in 2032."
Researcher Jo analyzed, "CrowdWorks is a leading domestic platform company providing sLLM construction and generative AI adoption services for enterprises," adding, "This is why it is expected to benefit from the expansion of enterprises' sLLM construction projects." He introduced, "The CrowdWorks LLM platform, launched in September last year, will start generating revenue in earnest from this year," and explained, "The CrowdWorks LLM platform is a service for sLLM construction and generative AI adoption, similar to WatsonX."

Furthermore, "Currently, more than 60 PoC projects are underway," and "amid large and medium-sized customers actively adopting generative AI, the revenue share of the CrowdWorks LLM platform is expected to expand to 14% this year," he analyzed. He explained, "Centered on Japan, the United States, and Europe, they plan to provide high-quality data for autonomous driving, healthcare, and other fields," adding, "They will supply domestic data necessary for global LLM companies."
