Social contribution activities by golf courses were mainly concentrated around the year-end holidays, including Chuseok and Lunar New Year. Many golf courses also engaged in various forms of volunteer work throughout the year by visiting local protective facilities and marginalized groups. The KGBA stated, "Many golf courses close for extended periods during the winter season, so some were unable to respond to the survey. Some golf courses affiliated with large corporations keep specific social contribution amounts confidential." They added, "The actual amount of social contribution donations is expected to be much higher than the survey results."
