Handonghun: "Democratic Party's 5 Major Crime Cutoffs... Only Lee Jaemyung Exempted"
Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, said on the 24th regarding the Democratic Party of Korea's cutoff criteria for the five major hate crimes, "It seems to have been made with various considerations so that only Lee Jae-myung, the party leader, would not be caught."
Chairman Han made this remark after a field meeting with university students titled 'The Future of University Students Together' held at the Hankyungjik Memorial Hall of Soongsil University in Dongjak-gu, Seoul.
The Democratic Party had earlier set the five major hate crimes as △sexual crimes △drunk driving △workplace power harassment △school violence △hate speech, and planned to cut off candidates involved in these from the general election.
Chairman Han added, "(Leader Lee) is still undergoing trials and has multiple prior convictions, but strangely, he does not fall under any of the five criteria."

He described the current youth generation by saying, "Because the country has developed, high economic growth has become impossible," and added, "If you think about it, it was an era when people could achieve more with less effort than you do now. Now that the seemingly eternal period of high growth has ended, young people have to spend much more time and effort preparing for their lives."
The university students attending the meeting proposed △support for youth monthly rent and expansion of jeonse and wolse interest support △establishment of minimum housing standards for single-person households △revision of university dormitory fee payment methods.
