Gio World Plaza is renowned as a premium shopping center housing luxury brands from around the world. Samsung Electronics has been operating premium experiential spaces in major cities such as New York and London. This is the first experiential flagship store opened in India.
At Samsung BKC, Samsung Electronics plans to offer innovative products and personalized services that connect online and offline across all product categories, from home appliances and TVs to mobile devices. Unlike existing stores, Samsung BKC is designed not only for experiencing and purchasing premium products but also for customers to engage with Samsung products and the brand tailored to their lifestyle. Eight experiential zones have been set up, including a game room, home office, connected kitchen, and private cinema. Each zone is integrated with SmartThings to provide a unique multi-device connectivity experience exclusive to Samsung. Additionally, customers can customize product lines such as The Frame, The Freestyle, and Bespoke home appliances according to their preferences and create mobile device accessories.
Samsung Electronics also offers personalized services that integrate customer experiences between the Samsung BKC store and Samsung.com, connecting online and offline channels. Customers can conveniently explore product information, consult, purchase, and receive services regardless of whether they are online or offline. Visitors at Samsung BKC can scan QR codes within the store using their mobile phones to access maps and detailed product information for each zone linked to Samsung.com. For the first time in India, customers can pick up products purchased on Samsung.com at the store, and online reservation customers receive individual consulting for product purchase and services at the store. Exclusive products for Samsung.com are also sold. Along with the opening of Samsung BKC, a large number of new Galaxy S24 series products will be introduced.
Samsung Electronics has also reflected customer interests and local culture in Samsung BKC. Considering factors such as individual work and hobbies within large families, popular content viewing like Bollywood, and increased interest in energy bills, related products and services will be available for customers to experience. The store also captures the unique culture of India well. A representative example is the 'Color Me' program, which digitally recreates 'Holi,' one of India's largest festivals where people rub or sprinkle colorful powders or paints on each other, using an 11-meter-wide giant LED curved screen and smartphones. Furthermore, experts such as chefs, artists, trainers, and gamers will be invited regularly to hold various events and workshops reflecting customer interests.
