View original imageThe meeting, held in the City Council's second-floor conference room, was attended by 22 people including Jinju city council members, tourism industry officials, the Jinju Tourism Promotion Division, the Jinju Culture and Tourism Foundation, and the Gyeongnam Research Institute Foundation, showing strong interest in tourism revitalization.
Among them, nine Jinju city council members, including Hwang Jin-seon who hosted the meeting, participated in a diverse manner regardless of their standing committee affiliations, drawing attention.

Councilor Hwang said, “In the post-COVID-19 era, Jinju City has recently been selected as a specialized night tourism city and a cultural city of Korea, striving to build specialized tourism infrastructure,” adding, “To connect the tourism sector’s growth potential, which has not yet been fully realized, to actual tourism revitalization, it is necessary for the public, private, and research sectors to collaborate and seek policy directions together.”
