IBS Quantum Nanoscience Research Division Hosts Qubit Art Contest
The Institute for Basic Science (IBS, President Noh Do-young) Quantum Nano Science Research Group (Director Andreas Heinrich) announced on the 23rd that it will hold a 'Qubit Art Contest' to stimulate public interest in quantum computers.
The theme of this contest is the basic unit of quantum computers, the 'Qubit.' The contest categories include painting, digital illustration, photography, and video, with no restrictions on the size of the artwork, video length, or the number of submissions. The general public and students from middle school and above can participate individually or as a team.
A total of six works will be selected as winners, with a total prize of 11 million KRW. The winning works will be showcased on the research group's website and social media channels. Flat artworks will be exhibited for a certain period at the Quantum Nano Science Research Group space at Ewha Womans University.
