Chorokmaeul Sees 60% Year-on-Year Increase in New Sign-Ups After Launching 'Chorok Bebe'

Since launching Chorok Bebe, a dedicated brand for infant food, in June last year, Chorokmaeul has seen a significant increase in new customers in their 20s and 30s. Chorok Bebe is Chorokmaeul's new private brand (PB) that independently plans and develops healthy and safe infant foods, from fresh ingredients to processed products.
Chorokmaeul announced on the 19th that the number of new sign-ups in the second half of last year increased by about 60% compared to the same period a year earlier. Notably, new sign-ups were concentrated among the 20s and 30s age group, which is related to parenting. Among newly verified customers, those in their 20s and 30s accounted for 55%, followed by 40s at 25%, 50s at 12%, and 60 and above at 6%.
A Chorokmaeul representative said, "With the high attention on the infant food market, Chorok Bebe is analyzed to play a meaningful role in acquiring new customers."
In fact, data compiled from the second half of last year, after the launch of Chorok Bebe, showed that new customers purchasing infant products increased by more than 40% compared to the previous year. The number of infant product varieties purchased per customer also increased by about 15% compared to the previous year, and the monthly purchase frequency rose by more than 10%.
Accordingly, Chorokmaeul is holding its first exclusive promotion offering up to 37% discount on Chorok Bebe products. Based on about half a year of results since the pre-launch of Chorok Bebe in June last year, the company aims to attract more attention from parents in the parenting stage seeking healthy and safe ingredients for their children.
The promotion runs until the 28th of this month. By joining Bebe Pass, the exclusive membership for Chorok Bebe, customers can receive a permanent 10% discount, coupons, and a dedicated insulated bag. Chorok Bebe products are available at over 360 Chorokmaeul stores nationwide and online malls. Parents in the parenting stage who find it difficult to go out can conveniently use same-day delivery from nearby stores and dawn delivery services when ordering online.
