[AI Revolution](89) AI Work Partner 'Allganize'... Versatile from Customer Consultation to Contract Comparison
Accurate Answers to Natural Language Questions with 'Ali'
Providing Customized App Development Solutions for Enterprises
Securing Major Corporate Clients Including Japan's Top 3 Banks
Game developer Smilegate Megaport has introduced 'Alli,' a work automation tool developed by Allganize, into the customer service chatbots for the mobile role-playing game (RPG) 'Epic Seven' and the PC racing game 'TalesRunner.' Due to the nature of the games, there are many customer inquiries even during the early morning hours, necessitating support functions for customer service agents. To reflect the frequently updated latest game information, they chose a solution that learns and evolves on its own. After applying Alli, customer inquiries requiring human agents decreased by more than 30%. Through Alli, they are also creating mini-games such as 'psychological tests' and 'character summoning experiences.' Even chatbot operators who do not know coding can easily implement these by linking application programming interfaces (APIs) like assembling Lego blocks. The company evaluated Alli as "a work partner beyond an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot."
Contract Analysis and Resume Recommendations... Driving Corporate Productivity
Alli is a natural language-based cognitive search solution. When asked a question in natural language, the AI finds answers from various types of documents within the company. Understanding natural language means accurately grasping the intent even if users ask the same content differently. For example, when wanting to know the internal loan limit for the purpose of purchasing a house, there is no need to search through internal regulations or individually look up terms like 'internal loan,' 'limit,' or 'fund purpose.' Instead, one can ask conversationally, "I want to buy a house; how much loan can I get from the company?" Considering that office workers spend a significant part of their daily work on information searches, this greatly enhances productivity.
Another pillar of Allganize is the 'Alli Large Language Model (LLM) App Store.' It is an AI-based app store specialized in work automation, offering over 100 apps from which companies can select what they need. There are solutions that compare and analyze contracts to highlight harmful clauses, as well as solutions that generate automatic email responses. Companies can also create apps they need directly. By selecting desired LLMs such as OpenAI's GPT-4 or Google's PaLM 2, customized apps can be developed with just a few clicks. Shin Ki-bin, Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) of Allganize, said, "We reflected the needs identified through our B2B business in the app store," adding, "Various apps are being created, such as transforming documents into the style of a former chairman or comparing and analyzing resumes to recommend suitable candidates."
Surpassing IBM to Capture Japanese Financial Firms... Aiming for IPO Next Year
By addressing companies' pain points, Allganize has secured over 200 paid corporate clients. Particularly, when Japan's Mitsui Sumitomo Bank, which was developing AI chatbots with IBM, chose Allganize, the pace of client expansion accelerated. Major Japanese corporations such as Nomura Securities, retail group Aeon, and telecommunications company KDDI have successively partnered with Allganize. Confirming high demand, the company relocated its headquarters from Silicon Valley, USA, to Tokyo, Japan. Currently, 60-70% of its revenue comes from Japan. Shin CAIO explained, "Since the COVID-19 pandemic, digital transformation has rapidly progressed, increasing demand for AI," adding, "Unlike Korea, which prefers on-premises servers (servers owned and operated by the company), Japan is more open."

Based on market expansion, the company secured 27 billion KRW in Series B funding at the end of last year. Including this, the total accumulated investment is 46.8 billion KRW. Allganize plans to use this to accelerate the spread of work automation AI in Korea, the USA, and Japan. They have also set a goal for an IPO in Japan in 2025. Shin CAIO emphasized, "The speed of decision-making inevitably differs between companies whose CEOs can see performance analysis results immediately and those who see them hours later," adding, "Using AI to innovate work productivity is no longer optional but essential."
