Imsil-gun Hosts Dairy Product Discount Event to Celebrate Launch of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province

Imsil County announced on the 9th that it will hold a discount event on its representative brand dairy products, ‘ImsilN Cheese,’ in line with the launch of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.

Jeollabuk-do will be newly established as Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province on the 18th, and January 18th is a historic day marking the hopeful signal of ‘a new era, a special Jeonbuk’ for Jeonbuk.

This discount event will be available online only from the 10th to the 16th through the ImsilN Cheese Cluster and Imsil Cheese Agricultural Cooperative websites, offering a 10% discount on ImsilN Cheese dairy products.

ImsilN Cheese is produced by 12 dairy processing plants, including the Imsil Cheese Agricultural Cooperative, using fresh raw milk and undergoing a sterilization process to produce the freshest cheese and dairy products.

It captivates consumers nationwide as one of Korea’s top 1% eco-friendly, high-quality cheeses.

ImsilN Cheese, loved nationwide, achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Korea Representative Brand Award for 10 consecutive years last year.

Additionally, the ImsilN Cheese Festival, themed around cheese, has been selected as a cultural tourism festival for eight consecutive years, continuing its reputation as the cheese capital of Korea.

County Governor Sim Min strongly urged responses to the special provisions of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province at the first expanded executive meeting of the new year on the 9th.

In particular, regarding the special provisions of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, he instructed to thoroughly prepare specialized strategies for each sector, including the advancement of the Imsil cheese industry through the introduction of low-tax zones, fostering companion industries, creating a comprehensive tourist site in the Okjeongho area and revitalizing private investment, attracting excellent overseas talent and settling them in the region, and to actively reflect these in county administration.

Governor Sim Min said, “I wish for the successful launch of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province,” adding, “As we start anew as Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Imsil County, we will strive toward a bright future for the new Imsil.”
