The police have decided not to disclose the personal information of Kim Mo (67), the suspect arrested on charges of attempted murder for wielding a weapon with the intent to kill Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On the afternoon of the 9th, the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency held a Personal Information Disclosure Committee meeting and decided not to reveal Kim's face, name, age, or other personal details.
Kim stabbed Lee in the neck with a weapon at around 10:50 a.m. on the 2nd, when Lee visited the Daehang Observatory in Gadeokdo, Gangseo-gu, Busan, and was arrested at the scene.
It was revealed that since last year, Kim had followed Lee six times, conducted reconnaissance of Lee's visit locations in advance, and meticulously planned the crime, including modifying the weapon.
