LG Uplus Launches 'Chunsik-i2', Child-Exclusive LTE Phone Priced Around 300,000 KRW

LG Uplus has launched 'Chunsik-i2', a child-exclusive LTE smartphone featuring Kakao's popular characters 'Ryan' and 'Chunsik-i'.
Chunsik-i2 is LG Uplus's seventh kids phone, based on Samsung Electronics' Galaxy A24 model. It features enhanced blue light blocking to reduce eye strain and provide comfort for growing children's eyes.
It is equipped with a 6.5-inch FHD large display, up to 50 million pixel triple camera, image stabilization, 128GB internal memory, 4GB RAM, and a 5000mAh large-capacity battery. The retail price is 396,000 KRW including VAT. The colors available are Light Green and Black.
Chunsik-i2 comes with 'Kiwi Play+', a parental control application developed in collaboration between LG Uplus and the telecom tech company 'Stage Five'.
The Kiwi Play+ app offers ▲real-time location tracking to check the child's whereabouts ▲kids phone control features to prevent smartphone overuse and harmful content ▲communication and reward functions where parents and children make promises and praise each other ▲and a financial service partnered with Hana Bank that allows children to manage their own allowance.
All customers who purchase Chunsik-i2 will receive a character package consisting of four accessories: a smartphone case, a bag, a screen protector, and a smart talk grip.
